Empowering Health, Transforming Lives
Welcome to The KATE Foundation, a women-owned, minority-led non-profit organization dedicated to combating diabetes and improving health outcomes in underserved communities. Our mission is to provide education, support, and resources to individuals and families affected by diabetes, with a particular focus on minority groups who face higher risks and barriers to care.
The KATE Foundation was founded by 2 minority women and a minority man, passionate advocates for health equity who have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of diabetes on minority communities. With a deep commitment to social justice, they established this organization to address the unique challenges faced by those most vulnerable to this chronic disease. Our founder’s vision is to create a world where everyone, regardless of their background, has access to the knowledge and tools necessary to prevent and manage diabetes effectively.
